Spotly Kids ("Spotly Kids," "we," "us," or "our") operates a mobile application and website that helps parents and guardians discover casting opportunities, manage child talent profiles, and access educational content for young performers in India.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Spotly Kids app or visit kids.spotlyindia.com. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.

Spotly Kids is designed for use by parents and guardians. Children do not create accounts directly. All child profile information is created and managed by a verified parent or guardian account.

We may collect the following categories of information:

Account and identity information: Mobile phone number (used for OTP sign-in), parent or guardian name, email address (if provided), account role (parent or casting agency), and onboarding status.

Child profile information: Child name, age, gender, primary language, city, interests, biography, and profile photos uploaded by the parent or guardian.

Casting and application data: Casting applications, application photos, messages or notes submitted with applications, and related metadata such as timestamps.

Agency information (for agency accounts): Agency name, logo, contact details, and casting listings created through the platform.

Device and usage information: Device platform (iOS or Android), app version, push notification token (FCM), notification preferences, and general usage necessary to operate the service.

Payment information: Subscription status and transaction references processed through Razorpay. We do not store full payment card details on our servers; payments are handled by Razorpay in accordance with their privacy practices.

With casting agencies and production partners: When you apply to a casting call, relevant profile and application information is shared with the listing agency to evaluate your application.

With service providers: We use trusted third parties to operate the platform, including Supabase (database, authentication, storage, and backend functions), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push delivery), MessageCentral (OTP SMS in production), Razorpay (payments), and YouTube (embedded video content).

For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to investigate fraud or abuse.

Business transfers: Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection consistent with this policy.

Data is stored using Supabase infrastructure with row-level security on exposed database tables. Profile photos and application media are stored in private storage buckets and accessed through signed URLs where appropriate.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong device protections and report suspicious activity promptly.

If you enable notifications, we store your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token linked to your account to send casting alerts, subscription updates, and other service messages. You can disable push notifications in your device settings or within the app where available. Disabling notifications may limit timely casting alerts.

Spotly Pro subscriptions are processed through Razorpay. We receive subscription status and payment confirmation from our backend; sensitive payment credentials remain with Razorpay. Refund and billing inquiries should be directed to support@spotlykids.com.

Spotly Kids is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of children. We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create their own accounts or provide information directly without parental involvement.

Parents and guardians control child profile data and may update or request deletion of child information by contacting support. If you believe a child has provided information to us without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately.

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request account or profile deletion by emailing support@spotlykids.com.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact support@spotlykids.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

Our service providers may process data in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. By using Spotly Kids, you acknowledge that information may be transferred and processed as necessary to operate the platform.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
